All of our VAs are carefully vetted to ensure that they are of good character and standing. Aside from the usual background checks, we also require our Telehealth VAs to submit an NBI (the Philippines counterpart of the FBI) clearance or equivalent document if they come from a different country.

Our Telehealth VAs undergo a HIPAA compliance training course with a third-party learning management system (LMS). This course covers critical information such as handling PHI, what type of information is subject to compliance, digital and electronic security measures, and more.
gavel Business Associate Agreement
In line with HIPAA requirements for business associates, each Telehealth VA must sign a Business Associate Agreement or Business Associate Contract when a HIPAA-covered client hires them. This ensures our VAs’ dedication to safeguarding any PHI they handle. Since 20four7VA does not have access to any PHI, we’re not required to sign the Business Associate Agreement.
